Baby Blessings

Adam blessed the boys on July 11th. He gave them beautiful blessings. It was hard for me to concentrate on them, though, because I was wrestling with Arden. I should've handed her off to family.

I'm so thankful for the Priesthood and our family. We are truly blessed!

Blessing Weekend

We had lots of family in town July 9-11th! They all came for the boys' baby blessings. So special! We had lots of fun on Saturday at the Lewis'. I'm so thankful for big back yards and family!

We played "Blongo Ball!" Arden and Bryce really wanted to join in on the fun.

Born to Explore

Amy got the boys the cutest matching outfits. They say "Born to Explore," which is a perfect representation of their daddy and Grandpa Mike. They love to travel! I'm sure the boys will grow up to follow in their footsteps.

Independence Day!

So I realize this post is way late, but....Happy Birthday, USA!

We had a wonderful Independence Day weekend. Saturday morning we went to the ward's pancake breakfast. This was our first public outting with the boys. They were pretty content, thank goodness! Arden had lots of fun. She walked all over the grove. I'm sure she would've done it all day long if she had the choice.

That evening I took Arden to Crystie's house for some food and fun. Arden really took to Crystie's cousin Levi. They had so much fun together!

Sunday was Independence Day. We went to church, and it was the first time we took the boys!

I took Arden to see the fireworks with dad, Chris, and Jasmine. It was her first time seeing them. I was so glad when they finally started, because all she wanted to do was run around. She was scared a couple of times, but I got her ooing and awing in no time. It was a fun evening!

The Due Date

It's hard to believe that the boys' due date is here. They're now 10.5 weeks old! They've come so far and are now 5 pounds more than they were at birth. They're my little miracle babies.

Two Months Old!

It's hard to believe the boys turned 2 months old on June 13th! I feel like they're brand new...probably because they had only been home for 5 days. Anywho, the boys are happy and healthy! Here are a few pics from that day.

Home at Last!

As many of you already know, the boys are home! We brought them home on June 8th, the day they turned 8 weeks old. I must say it seemed like they'd live in the NICU forever. Then, on June 7th we got a phone call from one of the NICU doctors, and she told us we could take the boys home that day! That totally caught us off guard. All that time, and we were still unprepared! Funny, huh? We opted to take them home the next day.

Earlier that day I realized we needed to buy new car seats, because the ones we had for Arden were expired. So, on our way to the NICU, we bought a couple of car seats at Baby Depot. The boys passed their car seat test that night, meaning they tolerated sitting in their seats for an hour. The only left for them to have done was their circumcisions. Poor guys! As we arrived at the NICU for the last time on June 8th, my OB was leaving. She'd just circumcised the boys. They were so unhappy!! We had to wait for 1.5 hours until they were ready to be discharged. Ugh, I wish they would've been circumcised a couple days earlier.

Last visit to the NICU! We had to wear a gown, gloves, and mask because of a potential chickenpox exposure. The garb was incredibly uncomfortable! We're so glad the boys were able to come...so we didn't have to continue wearing that stuff!

Arden was so excited when we came home with the boys! I wish I would've had the camera handy when we walked in the door. She just kept touching them and giggling when she saw them move.

She loves to rock her brothers!

We are so glad to have our boys home! Is it hard work? YES! Is it worth it? YES!!! We love all our children so much. It's so nice to have them all in one place.

Gift to Grandmas

It took us awhile to let anyone but us hold the boys. Once we did, the grandmas were in heaven.
