Natural Science Center

Adam and I went to the Natural Science Center in Greensboro last Saturday. We hadn't been since the new zoo area opened. They have some pretty cool monkeys, tigers, and wallabees now. They also added some maned wolves (although we couldn't see them), and next month they'll be adding an anteater. The other animals are pretty much the same. All of the stuff on the inside is either the same or rundown, except there is a new Omnisphere/Planetarium type thing. We didn't check it out, though...it's an extra $5 per show.
We'll go again sometime soon with Jasmine. I think she'll love it!

This was the first thing we saw. So pretty!

Showing off for the not-so-pretty female.
Same ol' miniature horses.

Alpacas...I thought the white one looked angelic.

Adam and I milked a fake cow...how fun.

Wallabees

Male Tiger

A Lemur of some kind.

Ringtailed Lemur

Meerkat..so cute!

Gibbon Monkeys...We were fortunate enough to hear one of them howling. Check it out below!

More monkeys.

I couldn't get a good shot of this porcupine, so I took some footage. I think he's pretty cool.

Same ol' dinosaurs as before.

Gibbons aren't monkeys..they're apes. Apes don't have a tail. Monkeys and lemurs have tails. They are all primates.

That isn't a female peacock. It is a male guineafowl. The Natural Science Center doesn't have any female peacocks- only three male peacocks, guineafowl, and now a rooster.
