Yes, today is my birthday. I can't believe I'm 28 years old. My 10-year high school reunion is coming up in September. That's insane! Old, old, old....
Adam made chocolate cupcakes with chocolate frosting for me to take to work today. He also made my delicious chocolate ice cream cake. He's the greatest :) For dinner, he took me to the Texas Roadhouse in Winston-Salem. One of my coworkers kept telling me about it, so I decided to give it a shot. It was really good, and the prices were, too! We took home more than we ate, which isn't a bad thing. Once we got home, I opened my gifts from him (one of which being some awesome Eeyore PJs!) and had birthday cake. It was a pretty good birthday, if I do say so myself. No complaints here!

Happy Birthday, Allison! Adam's ice cream cake looks a whole lot better than the one I attempted to make for Rodney's birthday - he'll have to give me step-by-step instructions some time!
