We attempted to go to the beach on Saturday, but it didn't quite go as planned. We couldn't find a dang parking space! So we took a break from looking and had a picnic in the NC Aquarium parking lot. Luckily, we bought a beach umbrella at Harris Teeter on our way, so that provided us with some shade. Arden seemed to enjoy hanging out on the picnic table. We took another try at finding a space, but it seemed we were always a minute too late. We had to give up and head home. I know, that's what we get for trying to go on a Saturday. At least we still got to spend time as a family!
